Christopher Britten was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Clark Atlanta University and obtained his MBA from Purdue University Northwest. Christopher has worked in the IT field for over 20 years and is currently the Group Chief Information Officer for the Public Safety Sector at the Department of Innovation and Technology. Chris is also an active member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., a historically African American fraternity. Chris enjoys coaching his son’s little league baseball team, watching shows about classic cars, and reading.

Christopher has been serving as You Matter 2's Board President since 2017.
