HF Juneteenth Festival vending will take place in Homewood-Flossmoor High School's South Parking lot, the center of the festival's experience. The festival will offer food, live music, art installations, performances and more. The HF Juneteenth Festival is open to the general public, with a focus on Homewood and Flossmoor residents.

The HF Juneteenth Festival is seeking high-quality Black-owned business vendors to give them the opportunity to showcase or sell their products or services. We are looking for the following type of vendors:

Requirements
Insurance: All vendors must provide One Day/Special Event or other General Liability Insurance with You Matter 2 and Homewood-Flossmoor High School listed as additionally insured. See the sample Certificate of Insurance below. Need insurance?

Food & Beverage Vendors: All vendors selling items that are consumable (Food Trucks, Beverages, etc) are required to complete the Cook County Department of Public Health “Temporary” and “Farmer's Market” Food Vendor Permit Application, download application below. All Food Vendor Permit application need to be returned to Holli Hess holli.hess@cookcountyhhs.org for approval. Additionally, you will need to complete the Vendor Application.

Tenting: Vendors are permitted to bring their own pop-up tents that CANNOT exceed 10x10ft unless purchasing another vendor space. Vendors have the following options when it comes to tent weights:

All base fees include 1 table and 2 chairs

- November 12th-December 31st: Early Bird Rate: $125
- January 1st-April 23rd: Regular Rate: $150
- Nonprofit Rate: $80
- Kid/Teen Vendors (18 and under): $80
- Food & Beverage Trucks: $200
- Insurance
- Kids/Teens (18 and under): $53
- All Other Vendors: $78
- Tent Weights (4, 25lb weights): $100 | REQUIRED if bringing your own tent
- Power: $50
- Extra tables: $20 each
- Extra chairs: $8 each
Vendor FAQ
What is included in the vendor fee and how do I pay?
All vendor fees include 1 6ft table and 2 chairs. Once you complete the vendor application, the form will direct you to a payment link to submit your vendor fee.
What if i need extra tables, chairs, power, or insurance?
If you need extra tables, chairs, power, and insurance you can purchase them as an add-on in your application.

Why is insurance needed?
Insurance is required for all event hosts and vendors for events in Flossmoor to ensure the protection of all businesses/organizations involved in the festival.
What is the tent weight requirement
Vendors must bring at least 25 lb weights per leg to be permitted to set up their tent. Vendors can also purchase 4, 25lb weights by adding it to their application.
What if I don’t have a business license/LLC/501c3?
Crafters, authors, and artists will be handled case-by-case. You will need to provide pictures of what you will be selling. Beauty products, clothing, and other businesses are required to have a license.
What is a kid/teen vendor?
In an effort to build future business owners and leaders, we are adding a kid and teen entrepreneur corner for those 18 and under to sell their products or promote their business.
When can I expect to hear back in regards to my application?
You will receive a response within 5-7 business days.
When is the last day to submit a vendor application?
The last day to submit an application is Friday, April 1st.
How much space will I be given?
Vendors will be provided enough space for a 10x10 tent. If you would like more space, you will have to purchase another vendor spot.
can I get a refund for my vendor fee?
After April 1st, refunds will not be issued.
