Shawn Moton is a You Matter 2 alum who graduated from Homewood-Flossmoor High School in 2018 and has continued to volunteer with our youth programs over the years. Shawn received his Bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. In his free time, he enjoys shopping and spending time with family and friends.
He's most excited about working with the youth, building connections, and wants to mentor them in positive directions. He wants You Matter 2 to be the same safe space as it was for him. Shawn's hope for our youth is for them to not be afraid of speaking up and be willing to take risks that will better their future.
