Shamberi "Sham" Smith, a Mississippi native now based in Illinois since 2022, has dedicated her career to nonprofits, serving at-risk youth, the homeless community, and individuals in mental distress. Her roles have included Mentor, Tutor, Youth Director, Mental Health/A&D Therapist, Housing Case Manager, Grants Manager, and she currently serves as the Director of Development at Cicero Family Service. She has a servant's heart and is passionate about community service. As an avid volunteer and AmeriCorps alum, she is driven to help others and is committed to making a positive impact in the world. Shamberi graduated from Tougaloo College (B.A. Sociology), University of Phoenix (M.A. Adult Education/Training), and University of Phoenix (M.S. Addiction Counseling).
