Jackie Riffice was born and raised in the south suburbs, growing up in Dolton and settling in Flossmoor with Larry to raise two kids-to-adults who are good citizens of the planet. She built a nest for her loved ones and a safe haven for those who didn’t have a place to belong.
Professionally, Jackie traveled from teaching to computer programming, to senior management, to consulting, to building a business or two. Her superpower is bringing order out of chaos so she is a project manager by day and a quiet radical at night, addressing issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She is a volunteer in the Lurie Garden in Chicago, serves on a church board and the Flossmoor Community Relations Commission, and has been involved in the community for over 35 years. Jackie’s happy place is in the garden and when she’s not there, she’s got her fingers in a million other things. Jackie has been serving as a Board Member since 2021. |
