Broderick Booth has served in school systems for nearly 17 years as a high school Dean of Students, Counselor, and Assistant Principal. Currently working to complete his dissertation on Black Men, Impacts of Racism on Identity, Broderick is passionately committed to the sharing of knowledge to benefit those that may have been historically marginalized. Throughout both his personal life and professional career, he has sought to empower those around him, spreading a message of empathy, transformative leadership, and equity for all while learning through the experiences of others. Broderick has presented nationally within the areas of bias, mentoring young men of color, understanding media perception and its impact on identity, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS). Mr. Booth is also a proud member of 100 Black Men as well as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.
Broderick has served on You Matter 2's Board of Directors since 2017.
